<p>Previously we discussed how you start home business with your spouse. These are some additional strategies that will help you to be able to do this more effectively.</p>
<p>1. Have a set time each and every week to discuss the next week. You can use this time to divide up tasks and responsibilities and go over the important action items that need to be done. For example, you can schedule this during the mornings on Mondays. It should take place the same time all of the time otherwise it is easy to forget.</p>
<p>2. Figure out who is responsible for what in the business and keep track of it. One way you can do this is to put it in a central location, such as in your home office on a large whiteboard. You can add two separate columns on the board for the each of you and additional columns for any hired help you might have. You can also track appointments, promotions and events on a central calendar.</p>
<p>3. Use a giant calendar to keep tabs on appointments for business and family appointments using colors. This way if you have events with your kids you can plan your business around them, which is one of the benefits to starting a home business.</p>
<p>4. Take advantage of your strengths. Hire or outsource administrative work so that you and your spouse can focus on the activities that generate revenue. Have clear definitions as to which one of you employee?s work for, what they are to work on and reporting relationships and structures.</p>
<p>5. Meet before you start home business to plan out household responsibilities. You should know who is going to pick the kids up from school and take them to their various activities. You should determine who is going to do the cooking and the cleaning around the house. Determining these tasks in advance will save you lots of frustration.</p>
<p>6. Figure out what each of you are working on in the business and come up with a game plan for what will happen should one of you need to step away. Think about what it will cost to hire someone to do those tasks instead. This is part of contingency planning, which is vital, especially if one of you gets pregnant or has other situations that require your attention other than the business.</p>
<p>Planning and thinking about these things in advance saves time, energy and money. Planning ahead of time makes it easier when you start home business.</p>

<p>If you are a real online business owner that uses teleseminars you clearly want people on the line. How do you make this happen? One way I have found effective is to use emails and a registration page to get more people on the call.</p>
<p>To start promoting a teleseminar, the first step is to schedule the promotion emails. They should be scheduled to be emailed out over a period of time leading up to the seminar. Promotional emails can be sent using the broadcast feature of your autoresponder software. This way everyone gets it at once.</p>
<p>How should these emails be worded? Here is one way, &#8220;Hi, just letting you know I am having teleseminar next week. Here is the number to participate.&#8221; You should treat these teleseminars like you are charging big bucks for them even if it is free. One way to increase the perceived value is to use a registration page.</p>
<p>Another key component to work from home part time with teleseminars is writing good copy. On the email or webpage, make sure there are bullet points that talk about the topics of the call so that people will want to listen to it.</p>
<p>A good strategy is to provide a list of topics that will be covered. If your teleseminar is about &#8220;The 5 ways to earn money at home in 30 days or less,&#8221; include that on the website. This way you build up a sense of curiosity and desire with your prospects. Here is another example:</p>
<p>&#8220;Why some businesses generate all the leads while others stay lead poor.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Avoid the critical mistake that most people make in addressing the needs of their customer that costs them time, money and frustration (and how these mistakes leave them in the minor leagues of business as oppose to being an all star player with the online heavy hitters).&#8221; You do not have to use the baseball example in the illustration that you use, but you can use the concept just with another illustration. You can say how it keeps them as an amateur instead of a professional. </p>
<p>&#8220;The 5 Traffic Generation Strategies They Do Not Want You To Know About because if you did know, you would cut into their profit streams and start making all of this money for yourself.&#8221;</p>
<p>A successful teleseminar when you work from home part time is to get as much people on the call as possible and this is done through building curiosity and interest. One website that does this well is www.fastinfoproducts.com. Pay careful attention to the bullet points that they use.</p>
<p>Now in your emails, you can also use bullet points as well so you can get those visitors to go to your registration page. As an example, 7 days from the event you mail out a broadcast letting them know about the teleseminar with a link to your registration page. 2 days later, you announce it again. On the day you actually have the teleseminar you want to send out one final email. You can say &#8220;Hey, just wanted to remind you we will be having our teleseminar in 6 hours.&#8221;</p>
<p>This is how to use emails to promote teleseminars to work from home part time and get potential clients on my call.</p>

<p>Running home-based business opportunities can be very challenging. One area of struggle for many people is how to manage their business time. Here are some strategies that will help you in the process.</p>
<p>1. Make A To-Do List</p>
<p>In order to manage your time you must identify what you need to do each day. You do not need to jot down the stuff you can delegate, just the stuff you have to do personally. Make sure you have access to it so you can constantly refer to it. Do not worry if you are not able to get everything done, you can always add it to tomorrows list.</p>
<p>The purpose of the list is to keep you focused, as there are many distractions that will occur during the day. Prioritize your list with the most important tasks at the top. This way if a lot of other issues come up, you took care of the most important tasks.</p>
<p>2. Manage email effectively</p>
<p>Poor email management is one of the biggest contributors to wasting time in promoting home based business opportunities. You should never check email throughout the day if it can be avoided. Schedule a specific time during the day to check your email and make sure it comes after some of the other higher impact activities throughout your day.</p>
<p>Sometimes people think that if you only read and not reply to email it does not hurt your business. The problem with that is you still waste time even if you are not replying to emails because of you start to think about how you are going to handle the email</p>
<p>3. Avoid pointless web surfing online</p>
<p>Because many home-based business opportunities require use of the internet you can be tricked into believing surfing the internet is work. It is only work if you are doing revenue generating activity. Otherwise, surfing the internet is busywork at best and time wasting at worst. One of the best tips you can do is to turn your internet connection off if you don?t need it to work. This will avoid the temptation to check websites you do not need to check.</p>
<p>4. Be Wary of Phone Time</p>
<p>As owners of home-based business opportunities we do need to use the phone. The key is to manage when and how we use the phone and not have it dictated to us. When you are working on productive activity, make sure that you have your incoming calls received by an assistant or let them go to voice mail. Once you pick up the phone it is hard to get off if the activity is not productive. This way you can keep your focus on the activities that are going to generate income for your business.</p>
<p>Take some time to evaluate how you spend your day. Look at the time you spend on email, on the phone and surfing the internet. Apply some of these suggestions so you can improve your time management ability.</p>
