Much Loved Animated Movies From Pixar
Posted by Lillian G Griffin at Jul 3rd, 2009 in Blogging
The computer-animated film studio, Pixar, has brought the planet movies that are much-loved by children and even by adults. Pixar has only made 10 films altogether so far, yet each of these wonderful movies has been a critical and commercial accomplishment. As of this date, the studio has earned twenty-two Academy Awards, four Golden Globes and three Grammy’s, which have all served to make it one of the most crucially applauded film studios in history.
The beginning of Pixar’s success starts in 1995 with the movie “Toy Story”. This brilliant movie follows the life of a beloved toy, Woody, the toy cowboy as he tries to compete for the position of most treasured toy with another new toy, Buzz Lightyear. The sequel, “Toy Story 2″ came out in 1999.
In between the achievement of the “Toy Story” movies came “A Bug’s Life” in the year 1998. This is the tale of an ant name Flik who is resolute to save the food that the ant colony worked hard to stash from some very gluttonous and ferocious grasshoppers.
From the year 2001, “Monsters, Inc.” is a charming and terrific yarn about all of the monsters hiding out under the beds and in the closets and in all of the dark darkness as our children go to bed.
“Finding Nemo” grossed over $800 million worldwide in 2003, making it the most commercially successful Pixar film to date. This is an entertaining tale about the disobedient clown fish that unintentionally gets separated from his dad as he is taken by scuba divers to stay in an aquarium in a dentist’s office. His father searches the ocean to retrieve him as the exploit progresses.
The year of 2004 brought us a movie about superhero’s at their best. “The Incredibles” is about Mr. and Mrs. Parr, who were previously known as Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl. They had to surrender their crime fighting jobs to become ordinary people and raise a family in the suburbs. When the appeal of his bygone life as a superhero overtakes Mr. Incredible, can Elastigirl and the rest of the Incredibles save him?
These great movies were followed by “Cars’ in 2006, a amusing motion picture about a car christened Lightning McQueen and what he learns about being happy and victorious in the city of Radiator Springs. “Ratatouille” in 2007, is about Remy the rat and his imaginings of being a chef in a fine French restaurant. And from 2008, a movie all about Love, and the last robot left inhabiting the earth,” Wall-E”.
And now there is what is predicted to be the greatest Pixar movie yet. “Up” is a movie about lifelong dreams and following your dreams no matter your age, as an old man makes his dreams come true with determination and grit.
