If disposer stops functioning all of a sudden then use the reset button to reset it. First of all, walk down to switch off the main power of the disposer. Next, press the reset button on the front or bottom of the unit gently. Now, switch on the power to reset the disposer.

Sometimes the water pressure from the sprayer is dull and insufficient to clean out the garbage. This all is due to the blocked small openings in the sprayer head. These small openings get blocked due to the formation of sediments and lime buildups.

To solve the issue, dismantle the aerator from the faucet with hands. If you are not able to untie with the help of hands then use pliers. Untie the aerator head and clean it with a brush dipped in vinegar to remove sediments and lime buildups. Afterwards, reattach the aerator head.
